Memorial Day Ceremony

Each year until our project was completed a special Memorial Day Ceremony was held specifically honoring those whose plaques had been installed during the previous year.

Friends and families of our lost heroes from across the Country, together with local citizens, gathered on Memorial Day for a suitably solemn patriotic ceremony.

Special guests and speakers included Medal of Honor recipient Sammy Lee Davis and four star U.S. Army General William J Livsey. Additionally, in an inspiring performance our grammar school children’s chorus sang, with gusto, inspiring patriotic songs.
