Documentary

As an extension of our Oral History part of this project, relying on the technical expertise of our partners at Gordon State College and Southern Crescent Technical College, Honor Our KIA created a moving documentary using interviews from our collection of oral histories.

It focuses on three of our honored dead – Fred Melton – WWII, Bobby Byars – Korea and James Reese – Vietnam.

The effect on audiences when this documentary is shown to civic clubs and similar audiences is a very gratifying affirmation of the effort that went into it.
